The Plan Was Bigger Than They Imagined
The next few days would reveal just how badly my children had miscalculated.
They thought abandoning me would leave me powerless.
Instead, it gave me the clearest possible evidence of what they were willing to do.
They had removed me from my home.
They had attempted to take control of property they didn't yet legally control.
They had assumed I wouldn't challenge them.
And they had underestimated me.
But I wasn't interested in revenge.
I didn't want them homeless.
I didn't want to destroy their lives.
I wanted something much simpler.
I wanted them to understand that I was still their mother.
But I was also a person.
I had rights.
I had choices.
And I wasn't going to surrender them because they had decided I was inconvenient.
