Sometimes the Simplest Solution Is the Best One
Today, the outlet beside my garage is locked.
My electricity bill is back to normal.
My lawn mower stays in my garage.
And my garden gnome is still where it belongs.
As for Monica?
She has her own charger now.omar
The whole experience taught me something I wish I'd understood years earlier:
Being kind doesn't mean you have to be permissive.
You can be a good neighbor while still protecting your property.
You can avoid unnecessary conflict without allowing someone to take advantage of you.
And you can set a firm boundary without becoming cruel.
Sometimes, all it takes is one clear “no.”
And in my case, that little word was enough to finally make my neighbor understand that my home—and everything connected to it—was not hers to use whenever she pleased.
