It Wasn't Just One Night
Eleanor started paying attention over the following evenings.
Sure enough, Monica returned again.
And again.
Almost every night, the same thing happened.
She would park, take out the charging cable, connect it to Eleanor's exterior outlet, and leave it there.
There had been no conversation.
No request.
No offer to contribute toward the electricity bill.
Nothing.
Eleanor was angry, but she decided to speak to Monica directly before doing anything else.
