Monica Came Back
That evening, Monica arrived with her electric car.
As usual, she walked toward the garage.
But this time, Eleanor was watching.
Monica reached toward the area where the charging cable had previously been connected.
Then she noticed the gnome.
She picked it up.
And that's when something unexpected happened.
A small prank mechanism Eleanor had prepared was triggered.
Bright pink paint splashed over Monica's head and clothes.
Monica screamed.
The noise brought several neighbors outside.
Within moments, people were standing along their driveways trying to figure out what had happened.
Some began recording the scene on their phones.
Eleanor stepped outside.
She wasn't laughing.
She simply looked at Monica and said:
“You've been using my electricity without asking. You took my property. I asked you to stop.”
The situation was no longer private.
