Mix equal parts warm water and white vinegar in a bowl. Dip
an old toothbrush into the mixture
. Gently scrub the waterproof seal, especially in the small grooves where dirt tends to accumulate.
Then wipe everything dry with a clean, dry cloth.
If the mold is elsewhere, let the mixture sit for a few minutes before scrubbing again. This gives the active ingredients time to dissolve dirt and bacteria.
Clean the moldy gasket with baking soda.
